The Institute Of Road and Transport Technology (IRTT) was established in the year 1984. It is run by All Transport Corporations of Government of Tamil Nadu. The Institute is located in a sprawling lush green campus of 350 acres. It provides a congenial atmosphere for Technical Education. It is 15 km from Erode Railway Station and Half a km from the NH-47 between Bhavani and Chithode. The Institute offers 7 Under Graduate Degree courses in Engineering in various disciplines and 2 post graduate courses M.E Structural Engineering and Master of Computer Applications. The Institute has excellent infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, library and highly qualified faculty members. The Institute is well known for its technical excellence, modern facilities, good performance track record and resourcefulness
The Placement section is well organized by our staff members and students. They play their role very well in training the students for the placements. The aim of our placement section is to have 100 percent placement in IRTT. The Placement section organizes various programmers’ for improving the skills of the students. It conducts various coaching classes and mock interviews for the students to overcome the fear of interviews.
